Much like Shinsuke Nakamura after him, Jeff Hardy's reign with the U.S. Championship had a number of decent matches and that was pretty much it.
He retained against Jinder Mahal, Randy Orton and The Miz a few times and then lost it in second to Shinsuke Nakamura at the pre-show of Extreme Rules 2018.
He won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles earlier this year with his brother, which ended abruptly due to an injury as we mentioned in Matt's entry.
