Just a number of months before winning the 24/7 Championship 837 times, R-Truth had a quite fun brief reign with the U.S. Title.
He randomly won it from Shinsuke Nakamura in January and kept it all the way to March, taking part in some hilarious segments and matches where he revived John Cena's U.S. Open Challenge. Some even thought he'd maybe face Cena himself at WrestleMania!
That wasn't to be, as he lost to Samoa Joe in a four-way match on SmackDown that also involved Andrade and Rey Mysterio.
Pretty good for what it was.
