At Money in the Bank earlier this year, Bayley won the briefcase and the SmackDown Women's Championship in a moment no one could have possibly predicted.
Bayley cashed in on Charlotte and then went on to have two really bland programs with both Alexa Bliss (and Nikki Cross) and Ember Moon. After beating Moon at SummerSlam, Bayley turned heel, retained against Charlotte in a very short match at Clash of Champions, and then "SmackDown LIVE era" ended.
Let's see where she goes from here, but up until last week her reign did not set the world on fire.
