Members: Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza, Joaquin Wilde

As the Cruiserweight ranks wither, Santos Escobar remains a shining star, bringing class and charisma to the fledgling division. Though the recruitment of Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza was unconventional (both men were abducted by masked assailants), the duo have proven valuable to Escobar.

While they may look like galaxy defenders, Wilde and Mendoza are skilled Cruiserweights in their own right. Once the constricting suits are off, they are a high-flying, death-defying tandem, who are currently a sleeper team in the NXT tag division.

Despite both men being unfamiliar to WWE audiences, they are veterans of the sport. Wilde began training in 2003 (aged just 16) and Mendoza had his debut match on his 15th birthday (2006). Wilde is known for his previous success in TNA/Impact Wrestling’s lauded X Division, competing for the company from 2011 to 2018. He won the Impact World Tag Team Championships, X Division Championship, X Division Championship Tournament (2012), and Feast or Fired (2013 – X Division Championship contract).

In predicting future success, Legado Del Fantasma have CV’s on their side.
