Every WWE Survivor Series Ranked - From Worst To Best
10. 2011
The return of The Great One. The main event of the 2011 Survivor Series saw future WrestleMania opponents Rocky and John Cena team up to defeat sacrificial lambs The Miz and R-Truth in a match that even Hillary Clinton could have correctly predicted. Still, the crowd ate up everything The Rock did, so it wasn't short of heat.
CM Punk defeated Alberto Del Rio to embark on his remarkable 434-day run as WWE Champion, and Team Barrett overcame Team Orton in yet another example from the file marked 'moments fans thought a midcard talent was going to be pushed'.
A fine show from top to bottom, full of acceptable wrestling.. and a Big Show/Mark Henry match.
9. 1995
At the beginning of this article it was stated that mid-90s WWF was the worst WWF, and whilst this statement holds true, the 1995 Survivor Series is an exception to the rule. In truth, the show has no right being so much fun.
The opening match saw the team of Skip, Dr. Tom Pritchard, the 1-2-3 Kid, and Rad Radford (Rad Radford!) overcome The Underdogs, an optimistic name for a team made up of Marty Jannetty, Bob Holly, Barry Horowitz, and Hakushi. On paper that doesn't scream excitement, but in practice it was an entertaining affair.
The main event of the night gave hints at the direction the company was going too, as Bret Hart ended Diesel's reign of terror as WWF Champion. Hart went through a table at ringside in this match, a spot rarely seen in the mid-90s, as both men ramped up the violence somewhat to establish the New Generation.
A much better show than you might think.
