Every WWE Survivor Series Ranked - From Worst To Best
16. 2003
Survivor Series 2003 was yet another event that looked good on paper but was fairly hit and miss in reality. Goldberg headlined his one and only Survivor Series event, successfully defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Triple H. His opponent this Sunday was also in action, although Team Lesnar came up short against Team Angle.
Vince McMahon defeated The Undertaker in a Buried Alive match that saw the end of Biker Taker and the beginning of the road to Kane/Undertaker II at WrestleMania XX. Speaking of Kane, earlier in the night he had defeated Shane McMahon in an Ambulance match, and Team Bischoff overcame Team Austin, with Randy Orton the sole survivor.
Los Guerreros also continued down the road to breaking up as they were defeated by the Basham Brothers. Remember them?

A one-match show (Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose fans may disagree), but by lord what a match it was. The main event saw Team Cena take on Team Authority with everything on the line, and the almost-45 minute match didn't disappoint in the slightest.
When all is said and done and Dolph Ziggler's career is properly evaluated, this will surely stick out as the moment WWE should have strapped a rocket to his back and ran with him as a main eventer. Sure, he won thanks to the interference of a debuting icon, but his babyface fire fighting from underneath showed fans that maybe he was as good as he said he was.
The debut of Sting was the major talking point however, and even for someone that wasn't a huge Sting fan years ago it was still a goosebump moment.
