Every WWE Tough Enough Winner: Where Are They Now?
8. Jackie Gayda (2002)
Then: There's no point in pretending otherwise: Jackie Gayda didn't really take to the in-ring side of the wrestling biz. In fact, she infamously worked one of the worst matches in WWE history by teaming with Christopher Nowinski vs. Trish Stratus and Bradshaw on the 8 July 2002 edition of Raw.
It's clear that Gayda was either getting by exclusively on her strong look, or that she hadn't been properly trained before being rushed onto the flagship show and woefully exposed for the world to see. Eventually, she did settle into the role of valet/manager for Charlie Haas, Rico and others, but was released in 2005.
Regrettably, rumours have since gone around that Jackie was punished for rejecting the advances of Vince McMahon. It's important to state that those came from ex-WWE talent Rene Dupree, but they've never been confirmed. They are, however, worth mentioning due to the ongoing disgust at other McMahon reports.
Now: Gayda signed with TNA after leaving WWE, but she didn't last long there either. By 2006, she's retired, but did return to the rings via the independent circuit between 2009-2011. She married ex-peer Haas in 2005, then the couple reportedly divorced in 2020.
Things have gone quiet on Jackie since then. She'll forever be remembered as somebody who was pushed to the forefront without having the skills to bask in the spotlight. Hopefully, aforementioned nasty rumours aren't true and she doesn't have a bad taste in her mouth about the industry.
Gayda probably won't be making a grand return to action anytime soon.
