Everything That Was Supposed To Happen At WrestleMania 36 (But Didn’t)
15. The Hall Of Fame Ceremony
One of the most enjoyable side-attractions of WrestleMania weekend is that of the Hall of Fame Ceremony. Hours upon hours of anecdotes, outfit checks and weird off the cuff moments that come from hosting a live celebration of historical wrestling figures.
This year would have been no different. In fact, the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame was absolutely stacked. Just look at the line-up: Batista, the Bella Twins, Jushin Thunder Liger, JBL, the British Bulldog and the nWo. Seriously, can you imagine the stories.
Unfortunately, the very comfy, usually very long ceremony was postponed until a later date, with no hint as to when. The Hall of Fame could be given its own unique date. Another possible scenario would be its pairing alongside SummerSlam or maybe, WrestleMania 37 gets a double-bill.
You also have to remember it’s not just about getting the inductees to attend, there’s the live audience full of active and retired wrestlers, as well as fans in attendance.
