The most recent addition to NWA's 70th Anniversary card will see two young junior heavyweights do battle in Nashville. Barrett Brown and Laredo Kid will receive a star-making opportunity to steal the show on Sunday when they face each other, but both already possess a wealth of experience throughout the world.

Brown was the most recent holder of the NWA Junior Heavyweight title but like all of the Alliance’s belts, it was forcibly vacated in September of last year when Corgan took control of the company and has remained absent since. Furthermore, the eight year veteran has already seen action in EVOLVE and Ring of Honor -- where he competed as the masked Americos in 2015, even challenging current IMPACT star Moose.

Meanwhile, the luchador Laredo Kid got his start in 2003 and has wrestled extensively for Mexico's AAA promotion since -- including bouts with stars such as La Parka, Aero Star, and even WWE legend X-Pac, as well as current WWE Superstar R-Truth. At NWA 70, Brown and Laredo will offer a taste of what the NWA's high-flyers have to offer, and perhaps, one of them can capture the promotion's Junior Heavyweight title upon its eventual return.
