Former WWE creative team member David Sahadi has claimed the company fired his father Lou for revenge.

Sahadi told 'Man School 202' that he needed a break back in 2003. Originally, production head Kevin Dunn offered three months, but David didn't want to put a time limit on things - he was so burned out after years of "70-hour weeks" that he needed some proper time to unwind.

That was effectively the end of Sahadi's full-time employment with WWE, but he did accept some production work with the upstart TNA promotion in late-2004. They contracted Dave to produce video packages for their upcoming Victory Road pay-per-view, and he took the gig.

Vince McMahon and other WWE top brass were reportedly furious about that.

Sahadi thinks that's why his father Lou, who had worked on and off as a "middle man" (Lou also worked on press coverage for the promotion and carried out other tasks) since the 1970s, was let go from his $3000 per month deal with WWE.

David took that decision personally, and believes it was done out of spite. He says that's why he could never return to McMahon's fold.
