Former WWE star Alex Riley claims he'll never work for AEW.

The one-time NXT standout (and ex-protege to The Miz) told UnSKripted that he's a "Vince McMahon guy" through and through. That loyalty to WWE means he wouldn't entertain Tony Khan if the All Elite head honcho ever came calling and wanted to do business.

Without being cruel, that's unlikely anyway. Still, Riley says he wouldn't be interested - he's far too busy running his CBD business and wants to focus on family. Alex told the podcast that he'd only make a pro wrestling return for one man and one man only: Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Everyone else can beat it.

40-year old Riley pointed out how high sadly-deceased icon Dusty Rhodes was on him in WWE developmental. Alex became FCW Champion down there, then seemed to have a bright future upon debuting as a smart-assed heel on the original NXT format in 2010.

Things fell apart fairly quickly for him, but Alex isn't ruling out a WWE comeback someday. He said he'd "stay loyal to the man that built me" (Vince), and "wouldn't entertain" overtures from elsewhere in the wrestling world.

No Dynamite run for 'A-Ry' then.
