Former WWE NXT star Taya Valkyrie, who wrestled for the promotion as Franky Monet, says she's still on the fence when it comes to pursuing a return someday.

Taya told fans via a K&S WrestleFest fan signing on Facebook that she's still sore over being "fired at the worst time in human history"; Valkyrie was let go by WWE on 4 November 2021. That, of course, happened during the COVID pandemic that caused worldwide panic.

The wrestler was very outspoken about her release at the time, and has continued to question WWE's business practices since departing. However, time does soften some wounds, and she's 50/50 on whether or not coming back would be a good idea.

Valkyrie did point out that pro wrestling is "unpredictable", and things change daily. So, she's unwilling to 100% rule out ever working for WWE again - that'd be foolish, but she is enjoying the chance to wrestle for MLW and as a free agent on the independent scene.

In an honest moment regarding any possible WWE comeback, Taya told fans: "I don't know". Her happiness is really the main thing here.
