Things got scary for this wrestler after being "knocked loopy" at the IMPACT show.

Former WWE wrestler Charlie Haas was stretchered to the back after being legitimately "knocked loopy" during Sunday's IMPACT Wrestling tapings in Dallas, Texas, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

Haas was wrestling former IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander on the show. The bout fed into an angle featuring IMPACT's new Ring of Honor-focused faction and while what exactly happened wasn't clear at the time of writing, Haas was "knocked loopy" at some stage.

Though he was stretchered to the back, the 49-year-old was "up and moving around backstage" later on, with the incident described as a "scary moment." Fortunately, it is believed Haas is now doing okay.

This was Haas' first ever appearance for IMPACT Wrestling. Despite being a professional wrestler since 1996, the semi-retired veteran had never featured for IMPACT in any of its guises - until this weekend.

Charlie is best known for his work with WWE between 2006 and 2010, though he was signed to the promotion as early as 2000. Moved from developmental to the main roster in 2006, he initially worked as a singles wrestler before coming together with Shelton Benjamin as The World's Greatest Tag team that December. The duo eventually became WWE Tag Team Champions on two occasions.
