Close your eyes and think back to growing up as a young wrestling fan.

Millions of young boys and girls around the globe dreamed of someday becoming stars like the heroes they were watching on TV. Finally inking that precious WWE contract was going to be the apex of that journey towards superstardom. A lucky few even managed to achieve this, and their pride must've caused hearts to feel like they might burst from chests.

Then, something weird happened. Those wrestlers who were once innocent, wide-eyed kids with a dream realised they didn't want to be with the company anymore or ply their trade under the WWE banner. The magic had faded, and they fancied buggering off to do something else for a while or liked the thought of wrestling away from Vince McMahon's well-known whims.
