8. Carefree Big Cass

Things looked good for Big Cass when he split from motormouth ex-partner Enzo Amore, turned heel and launched a singles career. Although pesky injuries stalled things for a while, Cass picked things back up after WrestleMania 34 by attacking comeback king Daniel Bryan. This was a huge spot for the guy.

Two months later, he was out the door.

Cass' final match came at Money In The Bank 2018 against Bryan. Around that same time, reports began to surface that Vince McMahon was p*ssed at the big man for defying his orders during segments on TV, and there were other reports about his behaviour backstage. Come MITB, the writing was on the wall.

Above, you'll see Cass looking all defiant as he strolled to the ring for that last pay-per-view effort in Illinois with D-Bry. During the same entrance, he smiled smugly and lacked the kind of heel intensity he'd been showing previously. It was almost like Cass knew he was heading for the exit door.
