9. MVP's Last Hurrah

MVP's surprise return at the 2020 Royal Rumble was just one of many pleasing moments from the best January pay-per-view in a long time. Seeing the once-overlooked baller receive a nice reaction from the Houston crowd was rewarding to anyone who watched WWE's product a decade or so ago.

24 hours later, the guy was working his last match.

There, on the 27 January edition of Raw, Porter lost clean as a whistle to Rey Mysterio in nine minutes. Afterwards, he posted on his Instagram account thanking fans for all the memories and said that'd be his final bout inside a WWE ring. He'd been able to leave on his own terms, and bow out against someone he greatly respected.

Coming down the aisle on Raw, MVP must have been emotional. Most fans expected him to stick around for a while as a mid-carder, but Porter had other plans. This was his way of saying goodbye to the WWE audience properly.
