Exclusive: MLW's Salina De La Renta On Future Goals, McDonald's, Getting A Ph.D & More

On if it bothers her that her being 22 years old is so regularly referenced:

Salina De La Renta: "Doesn't bother me. I feel like if I if I am upfront about it and I say, 'Hey, I'm 22,' people immediately think I know less. I always like to leave that for the end. I actually have had business meetings where people have no idea my age, and then at the very end I'm like, 'yeah, I'm 22.' 'No you're not.' 'Yeah, I swear.' I don't know if that really bothers me. It's more flattering because that just means that I'm a little more advanced than I always felt like I was. But now I have affirmation."

On MLW's continued growth as a company:

Salina De La Renta: "When MLW started there was maybe 300 people... The first event was called [MLW] One Shot and it was called One Shot because it was supposed to be a one time thing, but then it turned into something way cooler. Everybody wanted it to come back and everybody's like, 'oh my God, you guys have to run again.' And I think that Court Bauer was like, 'alright let's try it again.' Just every show that we did had twice the amount of people and it just kept growing and growing. Within the first four months of us running we already had television. So the fact that we were able to get that just made us realize that we might just end up blowing up."
