The Inner Circle need to get back on the same page in the present day - they're nowhere near ready to go their separate ways quite yet. Their reign as AEW Trios Champions should be the thing that eventually leads to their official downfall.
With the Bubbly Rule in place, it'll no doubt lead to a handful of miscommunication from the gang, which results in them dropping the titles to SCU. You might be thinking that Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky should have been mentioned far earlier in this fantasy booking, given they were the first trio signed by Tony Khan. When you think about it, though, the former ROH stars winning the titles after years of chasing the gold is miles better than them being crowned champions early on.
Furthermore, it should be Scorpio Sky who pins Chris Jericho to mark the title change.
Yet another callback from the Trios Championships, this time to the 27 November 2019 edition of Dynamite. Of course, that night saw Sky come so close to ending 'Le Champion's' reign as World Champion. 'The Violent Delight' knows he can pin the 30-year veteran. This is his chance to follow through on that.
