Fantasy Booking AEW's First 10 Trios Champions

3. The Inner Circle

Death Triangle
AEW

AEW have proven that heel vs. heel matches can work, and so there's no reason as to why Team Taz vs. The Inner Circle would fail.

Just think of the promo work that would be on offer.

For the purposes of this article, let's assume the Chris Jericho-led faction don't go their separate ways on the 9 December episode of Dynamite, and are represented in the form of Chris Jericho, MJF, and Sammy Guevara, although the Freebird Rule would absolutely be in effect for their reign. In fact, let's have some fun, and rename it the Bubbly Rule for the duration of the team's run.

There's no denying the match itself would be a fun journey, being a mammoth feature on one of AEW's marquee pay-per-view events. Let's choose All Out. The image alone of 'Le Champion' prancing around on the ring apron while Taz gabs away at ringside, all while 'The Spanish God' is shooting star pressing his way around the defending champions, and it all creates a delightful contest.

Crowning The Inner Circle as AEW Trios Champions seems like a given once news broke of the titles' inevitable incarnation. They may look as if they're on the brink of collapsing, however, 'The Demo God' always finds a way to bring his plans together.
