Fighting With My Family Review: 7 Ups & 3 Downs

1. Paige's Retirement Is Completely Ignored

Fighting with My Family is an underdog tale about Paige's ascent to WWE stardom, but it is a touch odd that the end of the movie completely ignores the fact that an in-ring injury forced her to retire in April 2018.

Instead, a title card simply mentions that her work helped blaze the trail for the Women's Revolution...and that's basically it. To the non-fan watching the movie, they'd likely assume that Paige is still wrestling in WWE today, which obviously isn't the case.

And sure, a post-script detailing her injury would interfere with the crowd-pleasing tone, but it does seem pretty odd - if not outright manipulative of casual viewers - to elide such an important fact from her life story.

If you can accept these gripes, though, there's a lot to be entertained by. Here's everything Fighting with My Family gets right...
