Florence Pugh is a fantastic actress who lights up pretty much anything she stars in, and she quite aptly elevates this production significantly with her thoroughly convincing performance as the WWE superstar.

Though Pugh's stab at Paige's accent isn't totally accurate - she often sounds a little too West Country - she nevertheless embodies her mannerisms, her personality and her general physicality extremely well.

Casting a lesser-known actress was certainly a smart move here, as there's no barrier of distraction for audiences to vault over where they're constantly recognising the star beneath the makeup and wrestling gear.

Pugh effortlessly slides into the character and does a remarkable job teasing our her humanity, her drive and her passion for the industry.
