Yes, the young man in that pic above is Goldberg's son, but he's not the only kid who considered Bill a hero growing up. That's something Goldberg takes rather seriously. He's mentioned it in countless interviews stretching back to the WCW days, and still brings up the importance of being a positive role model today.

Being a real-life superhero to children is a way of life for this man.

Animals can count on Goldberg to Jackhammer the evil away too. Bill has long been an advocate for animal welfare, and is a spokesman against animal cruelty. There's a soft, human side to Goldberg that nobody really saw at first glance. He just seemed like yet another meathead-style muscle man coming from sports into wrestling.

Nope, Bill has compassion. He's also worked extensively with charities dedicated to cancer research, and is another who's never shy of visiting sick kids in hospital when he can. There's way more to Goldberg than anyone watching Nitro in the 1990s could've known.
