Flawed Wrestlers Who Became GREAT Human Beings

2. David Arquette

You'd be forgiven for seeing Dave's name here and thinking, 'Flawed wrestler? Was Arquette even a wrestler?!'. Fair point, but put some respect on that because he did become WCW World Champion. OK, so did Vince Russo, but let's get back to the real reason why David is here at all.

It wasn't common knowledge at the time, but Arquette donated all of the earnings from his World Title run to charity. The actor could've easily made a big song and dance about that to take heat off himself from wrestling fans at the time, but no - he kept it fairly quiet until years later.

Basically, David's title reign might've been the most productive of any in WCW history. Think about that. He was a lifelong fan himself, and knew people would dump all over the thought of a non-worker holding the richest prize. So, Arquette did his best to create some good from a creatively bankrupt situation.

Good on him.
