Former ECW owner Tod Gordon says WWE's Paul Heyman has been "lying his ass off" about the hardcore company's history for years.

Gordon told the 'Outdated Wrestling' podcast that he has a new book coming out that'll lift the lid on the real truth behind what happened to Extreme Championship Wrestling. What's more, Tod promises fans will "hear some bad stuff too about people who were just dishonest", but says everyone will be left "hysterically laughing" by the end.

Intriguing.

Tod co-wrote his new book (entitled 'Tod Is God') with Kayfabe Commentaries supremo Sean Oliver. Initially, Gordon wasn't interested in the idea of telling his story through text, but then he heard some of the things Heyman said on his WWE-produced DVD.

That changed everything. Suddenly, Tod was all in on Oliver's project, and plans to tell stories "that have never been told publicly before". It looks like he's keen to shoot holes in some of the things Paul E has been peddling for years too.

Things could get interesting once the book comes out, put it that way. ECW's rise and demise is one hell of a tale, but Gordon says he'll tell it truthfully compared to others.
