Former WWE Star Thinks Roman Reigns Is About To Turn Babyface

Roman Reigns is about to go babyface, at least according to this former WWE man.

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell thinks the company will soon turn Roman Reigns babyface for a feud with comeback heel Karrion Kross.

Mantell told SportsKeeda that it'd make sense given recent booking. Kross returned to screens on SmackDown's 5 August episode, and appeared to target both Roman and Undisputed Title number one contender Drew McIntyre; McIntyre challenges Roman for his belts this weekend on Clash At The Castle.

Dutch reckons a babyface turn is incoming for the current champ though. He didn't put a time limit on the window for turning him, but definitely thinks Reigns will go baby then work a program opposite Kross. Whether or not that comes after dropping the WWE and Universal straps to Drew remains to be seen.

Roman has played before largely positive reactions from fans since crowds returned to buildings last year. His switch to the 'Tribal Chief' in 2020 earned rave reviews, and it seems people couldn't wait to cheer him when they were allowed to attend events again.

Reigns' current "*insert city here* Acknowledge Me" catchphrase is also one of the most over bits in pro wrestling.
