Former WWE superstar Rene Dupree is the latest to suggest that Vince and Linda McMahon may not be together anymore, going as far as to suggest they hadn't lived together for decades.

Speaking on his Cafe De Rene podcast, Dupree said;

“I heard that Vince and Linda are still legally married but they haven’t lived together in decades.”

This follows a Wrestling Observer Radio discussion from today in which Dave Meltzer noted;

"Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though."

Vince himself fuelled speculation on their status during his pre-WrestleMania interview with Pat McAfee, in which he referred to Linda as "my wife at the time" before correcting himself to say "my wife".

There's a renewed focus on the situation at present in light of yesterday's Wall Street Journal breaking news about an internal investigation currently going on within WWE. As a reminder, McMahon and John Laurinatis are being investigated by the WWE board of directors following allegations from an anonymous source relating to a prior consensual sexual relationship McMahon had with a female ex-employee, as well as historic non disclosure agreements relating to other female ex-employees.
