G1 Climax: Ranking The 9 Possible Finals

Okada and Ibushi are mirror world images of each other. Both are some of the greatest wrestling prodigies of this generation. While Okada used his skills to take the reigns of New Japan and become the face of the company, Ibushi took his talents around the world, never quite being the central player anywhere major.

Both stars are determined to win the G1 and main event Wrestle Kingdom. For Okada, it's simply a matter of reclaiming the spot that's rightfully his at the top of the company. For Ibushi though, it's the chance to wrestle Kenny Omega on a stage like the Tokyo Dome and changing the wrestling landscape. To do that in this hypothetical matchup, he would have to overcome Omega's greatest rival.

Okada and Ibushi have faced off in the past, but if this were the G1 final, the stakes would be incredibly different. Both men would be more experienced and even better in-ring, and Ibushi wouldn't be cosplaying as Tiger Mask. They'd be two men with one goal in mind: Kenny at the Tokyo Dome.

While the story of the match would more or less center around Omega, that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Kenny has affected both men's careers incredibly, and seeing that change reflected in the ring would be a sight to see.
