GLOW Season 2: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best

4. Tammé/Welfare Queen

Most of the supporting characters, despite the talented ensemble, didn't get a chance to flesh out their characters too much this year, but Tammé/Welfare Queen was the exception.

She's the dual focus of an entire episode - alongside Debbie - which nicely contrasts the pair's differing experiences of parenthood, as we get to see the pride and love Tammé has for her son and the education he's receiving, before breaking down in tears as he watches her being abused in the ring. It was an emotional moment for the character, which Kia Stevens played really well, and helped deepen her as a person in and out of the ring.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
