GLOW Season 2 Review: 7 Ups And 1 Down

1. It's An Absolute Blast

GLOW Season 2
Netflix

Yes, it has some big emotional scenes. It tackles serious issues, has relevant social commentary, and gets very Dramatic. And all that's great, but the best thing about GLOW is that it's a complete and utter joy to watch.

The series completely knows what it is and every decision it makes oozes with the confidence of a show so comfortable in its own skin and proud of its unique voice. It's weird, silly, and just a blast to sit down and let play out, without being too thin to simply be 'fun'. It's feel good, laugh-out-loud, campy, the-world-can-be-horrible-but-isn't-this-lovely brilliance.
