HORRIBLE Matches WWE Forced On Fans
1. DX Vs. The Brothers Of Destruction
Somehow, four of the biggest legends in WWE history conspired to go one better than Shane McMahon being dubbed "Best In The World" at Crown Jewel 2018. Mere moments after that horrific announcement, Shawn Michaels returned to the ring for the first time in more than eight years to team with Triple H against The Undertaker and Kane.
Infamously, even these icons of the biz thought their match was the drizzles. 'Taker and Michaels were the most vocal; HBK could be seen on a WWE-produced doc apologising for his performance behind the curtain, and The Undertaker has openly discussed his embarrassment when looking back on the bout.
WWE blatantly only booked the match because Saudi royalty demanded it. Not remotely because it was a good idea or sought after by fans beforehand. If anything, fans wanted to see Shawn come out of retirement to wrestle someone like Daniel Bryan or AJ Styles.
Instead, the company served up a creaking tag that exposed the harsh truths of age.
