WWE is a weird company with off-putting values to a lot of people. This is a promotion that simply believes Charlotte Flair is a babyface. That's what separates WWE from the other companies. They are weird and they do not grasp that they are not normal people.

Road Dogg is a lunatic especially, and, when commenting on the events of SummerSlam 2018, he was so close to getting it. On a recent edition of his 'Oh, You Didn't Know' podcast, Road Dogg said (h/t Fightful):

"The idea was that Charlotte came in and weaselled her way in and won the title, and kind of stole it from [Becky]."

He then elaborated, criticising fans for cheering Becky's post-match turn.

"Oh my god, what are you doing? That’s horrible sportsmanship. There’s no goodness left at all. It’s all Twitter, the world is Twitter. The world is Twitter now.”

What?

Are you stupid (yes)?

He acknowledged that Charlotte weaselled her way into the match. People hated that because Charlotte was entitled, sneaky, and crafty - all qualities associated with heels. That Charlotte was an office project hardly helped. Charlotte didn't bravely and decisively win a hard-fought match.

The arrogant, detached mentality within WWE has trickled into the booking over the course of years, so of course Road Dogg defends it.
