How AEW Will Deliver The Biggest (And BEST) Wrestling Show EVER In 2024

Now there's nothing wrong with choosing to scale things back a little on the production/set side to really shine a light on the thousands packing themselves into an arena for a wrestling show.

It's that wise move which has led to some of the most captivating visuals in WWE history over the last few months. Seeing not a single spare seat in a 15,000+ seater venue will never fail to send a chill up your spine.

That being said, some situations simply call for a something a bit... more.

The biggest wrestling promotion on the planet have always pulled out the stops when it comes to their 'Show of Show' set, pyro, and entrances in general.

Sadly, the same couldn't be said for AEW during their first big-stadium trip last year, with TK's promotion instead opting for the minimalistic approach when it came to the LED set and ironically not really going all in on their wrestlers' arrivals.

Jericho's embarrassing Queen impression, Saraya actually rocking the stadium, and MJF's emergence as 'The Devil' aside, the majority of the stars on show weren't really made to feel all that special during what should have been the biggest entrances of their careers.

One thing the company did nail was the pyro side of things, it must be said, with the iconic arch exploding time and time again and the stadium genuinely feeling like the hottest thing on the planet at points.

Spread a bid of that fireworks budget out towards that rather underwhelming and basic set and AEW will be that bit closer to presenting their showpiece event as the pinnacle of wrestling it should be.

Another thing Khan should consider if he really wants to make All In a standout date on the wrestling calendar is putting an end to the immediate follow-up that is All Out.

The AEW President may like the idea of building traditions and want fans to get excited for a dose of All Elite Wrestling every time these back-to-back British and American bank holiday weekends come around. But, as already noted, having this double-whammy go down so close together inevitably led to certain big contests and moments being preserved for the less-memorable follow-up PPV.

Judging from Khan's comments coming out of last year's shows, though, it sadly looks like this quick one-two punch will be continuing in 2024.

All that being said, AEW definitely have a big enough roster to put on two absolutely stacked and mouthwatering cards within a matter of days. But life would surely be that little bit simpler for TK and co. if they only had to worry about building towards the one mega show around All In season.

And speaking of that absolutely star-studded roster...
