How Far Could A Possible Mandy Rose And Sonya Deville Romance Go?
As already stated, the two practically started at the same time, first on Tough Enough, and then on NXT Television. They then moved to the main roster, debuting as part of Absolution, a chaos causing trio spearheaded by Paige. When Paige officially retired from in-ring competition in 2018, both Mandy and Sonya moved over to SmackDown Live! in the superstar shakeup, retaining their partnership.
In February, the duo competed in the second women's Elimination Chamber match to the crown the first ever WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, which was ultimately won by Sasha Banks and Bayley. Shortly thereafter, Mandy and Sonya began showing signs of a rocky relationship and seemed to be heading to a separation. In the end, however, they kept their partnership alive, continuing to bully the babyfaces of the SmackDown women's division such as Carmella, and most recently, Ember Moon.
After a backstage brawl between the two and Ember, as well as after Deville's one-on-one victory over her, Rose was impressed by her partner, looking at Deville in a way that goes beyond friendship. What does this mean and where will it lead to?
