How Many People REALLY Attended WWE WrestleMania 37?

WWE claimed over 51,000 fans attended 'Mania. Here are the REAL ticket sale numbers...

Perhaps unsurprisingly, WWE's claimed WrestleMania 37 attendance of over 51,000 fans across both nights doesn't reflect the event's actual attendance or ticket sales.

Citing records held by the Tampa Sports Authority, which manages Raymond James Stadium, Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston reports that 18,328 people attended night one and 18,924 hit night two. This falls significantly short of the 25,675 people that WWE claimed had "sold out" the building for both shows.

20,172 and 20,634 tickets were sold for nights one and two respectively. This means that over 3,000 were purchased but never used, which Thurston attributes to an overeager secondary market.

Either way, if WWE did, indeed, make 25,000 tickets available for both nights, WrestleMania 37 fell short of selling out.

A total of $6.2 million was brought in in attendance revenues. There is currently no word on how much money WWE made through merchandise sales at the Show of Shows.

WrestleMania 37 was WWE's highest-attended event since the pandemic first took hold in March 2020. The company is yet to clarify when it will return to something resembling a regular touring schedule, though it recently moved its ThunderDome setup across Tampa to the University of South Florida's Yuengling Center.
