Roman Reigns' degree of creative control in WWE hasn't changed despite the recent high-level transfer of power within the company.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson writes that when it comes to the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champions creative, things are collaborative. Reigns has "a great deal of say" in his televised output. Along with manager Paul Heyman, who has traditionally had a degree of control in his clients' creative, Roman works with Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, who became WWE's creative lead in the wake of disgraced former Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon's resignation in July.

Heyman and Reigns had previously worked with McMahon on Roman's content. It sounds very much like the only thing that has changed is the man holding the pencil.

774 days have now elapsed since Roman first captured the Universal Championship, which he unified with the WWE Title upon defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 this past April. Logan Paul will likely be his next challenger, with the rookie booked to face Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022 on Saturday 5 November.

Drew McIntyre became the latest failed Undisputed WWE Universal Championship challenger at Clash At The Castle last month.
