How The Fiend Could Affect These 8 WWE Superstars

4. Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler really is a curious beast.

Despite being one of the best in-ring performers under the WWE umbrella, despite looking like a million bucks, and despite being great on the mic, Ziggler has so often found himself utilised as a gatekeeper who other superstars run through on their way to the main event picture.

You have to feel sorry for Dolph, too. The one time he was really given the ball to run with - his Money in the Bank cash-in on Alberto Del Rio the night after WrestleMania 29 - everything was immediately thrown up in the air after the Show-Off suffered a concussion.

Since his concussion issues and subsequent loss of the World Heavyweight Championship back to Del Rio, Dolph has won a further five Intercontinental Championships, a United States Championship, and had two stints as a Raw Tag Team Champion. Clearly these are accolades to be proud of, yet it also highlights how Ziggler hasn't had a serious sniff of the main event scene for nearly seven years.

Should he find himself in The Fiend's sights, this could be used to propel Dolph Ziggler up the card once more as he fully embraces a more cocksure, single-minded heel approach - in contrast to simply being a sniffling midcard lackey for a bigger heel act, such as Baron Corbin.

And while we're at it, this would be the ideal opportunity to bring back either version of the badass I Am Perfection entrance theme Dolph used between 2009 - 2011.

The bigger question here is, has there already been too much damage done to the Dolph Ziggler character by this point in time for any character change to really matter?
