How The Fiend Could Affect These 8 WWE Superstars

2. CM Punk

With CM Punk now loosely back in the WWE family courtesy of his FOX deal to appear on WWE Backstage, this has been viewed in some quarters as one of the first steps to Punk having at least one more match.

Seeing as he's now positioned as an analyst tasked with assessing the WWE product, maybe all that CM Punk needs to lure him back into the squared circle is a meeting with The Fiend.

Pretty much ever since Punk walked out on WWE after the 2014 Royal Rumble PPV, fans have constantly been speculating on just when the Second City Saint would return to the ring. For his part, the multiple-time World Champion often stated that he would never, ever return to pro wrestling - but wrestling fans are more than familiar with the famed 'never say never' mantra that so often rings true in the wrestling business.

So far, the whole Fiend persona has been used to revert superstar back to their old selves. Utilising Bray Wyatt to turn CM Punk the analyst back to CM Punk the wrestler could be the sort of angle and feud that may - just may - pique the interest of the Chicago native.

At this point, Punk has made it clear that he's open to wrestling again - just that the money and the idea has to be right. With the Straight-Edge Superstar holding all the cards right now, The Fiend may be too good to say no to.
