WWE President and TKO higher up Nick Khan has described Triple H as "a phenomenal partner" who's easy to work with and trade ideas with. Khan was speaking during an appearance on Logan Paul's 'Impaulsive' show, and even stopped to put Logan over as a true rising star in the promotion.

Most fans will be interested to hear just how heavily Nick is involved behind the scenes when it comes to day to day WWE creative. In truth, he isn't at ground level thrashing out what happens on episodes of Raw, SmackDown or NXT, but Khan does have a direct line to Hunter and says: "The only times I'll get involved is if he calls and asks for my point of view on something, or if I really feel strongly about it".

Of course, this works both ways - if Triple H feels strongly about something that's happening on the business side of the fence, then he can easily pick up the phone and let Nick know his thoughts. Both men enjoy that balance, and they've got a good working relationship heading into 2026.

Khan also revealed that he talks to Trips "three to five times a day", and admits that this is "a lot". They're passionate about driving one another on though. During the same interview, Nick discussed the importance of WWE harnessing "a pipeline of young, fresh talent" to secure the future of the company and its product.

Fans Were Fascinated By Process Behind John Cena's Heel Turn

WWE Unreal on Netflix kicked open doors to clue fans in on how the promotion operates behind the scenes. Naturally, a lot of what was shown would've been carefully curated, but the documentary series was marketed as a 'WWE tells all' kind of expose digging into the inner workings of the creative process that motors weekly television.

It was a gripping watch, and there were a few big revelations.

One of the biggest came when Triple H disclosed that John Cena was the last to hear about his impending heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2025. Everyone from Nick Khan and The Rock to Cody Rhodes and even rapper Travis Scott heard about the pitch before Cena did, which is remarkable.

Khan was deep in the weeds on that moment, because it was one of the biggest WWE moves in years. Cena going rogue must be one of those times when Nick 'felt strongly' about what was going on and what needed to happen, but John has since admitted that his heel turn bombed spectacularly.
