HUGE Roman Reigns Segment Planned For WWE SmackDown
What is the 'Big Dog' doing on Friday?
Roman Reigns will follow up on his SummerSlam comeback last Sunday with a contract signing segment on this week's episode of SmackDown.
The 'Big Dog', who appeared to turn heel on the pay-per-view by attacking both Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman after their Universal Title match, is slated to work a Triple Threat bout at Payback this coming Sunday.
The quick turnaround between major shows means WWE only really has this Friday's SmackDown to work with and build towards that headliner.
It's rather unique that WWE are only advertising Reigns for the segment too. There's no word on whether Bray and Braun will be shown signing the document after him, or if that'll be explained away as something that 'happened earlier before SmackDown went on the air'.
Reigns' biggest critics must ask be intrigued to see what his first promo since returning will be like. Roman previously had a habit of forcing his mic work and therefore coming across as goofy or unnatural, so it's hoped this recent hard edge will bring out the best in him.
The actual Payback match itself should be fun regardless.
