Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest

4. Monday Nitro - Mike Awesome

Much like the Vampiro match, this one serves the purpose of furthering the Hogan/Kidman beef by introducing a tall guy the Hulkster is willing to sell for. In this case, at least, there was an existing issue between the two: Awesome had helped Kidman pin Hogan in a handicap match. To avenge the unspeakable shame of losing to a short dude,

Imagine a match between the Nasty Boys. It's just two guys strolling shoulder-to-shoulder around the ringside area and up the aisle, occasionally throwing in a lazy chair shot. They finally rolled into the ring, traded clotheslines, and then tumbled to the outside AGAIN, but this time Kidman was there to hit Hogan with a flying chairshot and roll him inside to be pinned.

Hogan immediately regained all his HP and began beating up Kidman and Awesome simultaneously, until he was incapacitated by a cascade of blood from the ceiling. This summoned the entire New Blood faction to show up and gingerly kick at him, and, I swear to God, the Sting fan from the Piper match.

Why, with all the commotion and interference and giant mysterious puddles of blood, it's almost hard to tell that Hogan got pinned. Can't imagine why they'd do that or what kind of giant orange person might insist on it.

Rating: Should Have Saved "Bloody Disgraceful" for This
