Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest

3. Fall Brawl 1999 - Sting

Man, Sting sure had Hulk Hogan's number, in the worst way possible. He holds the record for unsatisfying Hogan defeats; no less than five times did the Stinger defeat Hogan in such a way that it was apparent that he was not in Hogan's league. Of those five, this loss is the most convoluted and overbooked, although it's not the worst overall.

Hogan had Sting beaten with the Big Leg -- of course he did -- when Diamon Dallas Page appeared to knock out the referee, then Cut Hulk's Diamond. When Hogan kicked out of this, DDP hit a second Diamond Cutter on the referee before being attacked by Bret Hart.

Sid Vicious and Lex Luger then ran in to be big booted, allowing Sting to turn heel and knock Hogan out with a baseball bat. Four guys interfering and an ill-advised heel turn to justify a Hogan loss?
