Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest
1. Halloween Havoc 1995 - The Giant
Hogan was murdered onscreen three times by the Giant prior to Halloween Havoc. The first time he was strangled after being teleported to the actual, physical Dungeon of Doom where the Dungeon of Doom lived. Then Giant killed him two more times with Steven Seagal neck snaps, leading up to a monster truck fight. During the subsequent match, Hogan was attacked by Jimmy Hart, the entire Dungeon of Doom, Lex Luger, and an actual mummy, with the end result being that Giant won the title.
On Nitro, it was revealed that Jimmy Hart had secretly rewritten the rules of the match so that Hulk Hogan could lose the belt on condition that he was attacked by 12 guys cosplaying rejected spooky breakfast cereals.
To clarify: they thought it was more realistic that Hulk Hogan can recover from three separate spinal traumas in time to be medically cleared for a monster truck fight than the idea of a seriously injured Hulk Hogan losing a wrestling match to a man six inches taller and two decades younger than him.
I feel I should stress that a mummy showed up. A mummy that was called a 'Yeti'. F*** this company...
