Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest
24. Monday Nitro - Goldberg
Clocking in just slightly screwier than the Rock showdown is this 1998 showdown with the Jewish Juggernaut. Goldberg's rise was irresistible, and Hogan wanted a piece of the action while getting was good.
Also, he agreed to lose to Goldberg on the condition that he'd be the one to end his unprecedented win streak, a prerogative he traded to Kevin Nash for OH MY GOD WCW backstage politics are exhausting.
The crowd in Atlanta was molten for Goldberg, even though the match itself was mostly butts. It's about eight minutes bell-to-bell, and seven of those are stalling. Also, the lead-in to the finish is Curt Hennig wandering out to get beaten up by Karl Malone.
Seriously, Goldberg kicked out of three Big Legs with authority and pinned Hogan clean with the Jackhammer, but obviously the real focus had to be promoting the Hulk Hogan Basketball Pals tag team match.
Rating: Still Pretty Much Fine
