Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest

18. King Of The Ring 1993 - Yokozuna

Stop me if you've heard this one before: a new monster heel rolls into WWE and crushes all who oppose him. That is, until Hulk Hogan, the Great Orange Hope, appears and defeats him decisively enough that his main event credibility is effectively shot; the cycle then repeats ad infinitum.

It happened to a lot of guys, but not Yokozuna. The great thing about Yokozuna is that, even though he was emasculated hard enough at WrestleMania IX that Bret Hart took splash damage, he demanded a rematch that wound up annihilating Hulkamania.

Yoko kicked out of the Big Leg, which caused Hogan to have a brief existential crisis and punch Mr. Fuji. He then made exaggerated roof-raising gestures for the benefit of ringside paparazzi, little suspecting the photojournalistic subterfuge that was in store...

One of the photographers, in his best Robin Hood-at-the-archery-tournament false beard, leapt up on the apron and blasted Hogan in the face with a fireball. Hogan was then hit with a Bigger Leg by Yoko, pinned, and shuffled right the hell out of WWE for ten years.

Still took a 500 pound physical marvel and a James Bond flamethrower camera, though.
