If WWE.com Was Being Honest: 5 Articles That Deserve New Titles
4. This Noelle Foley Slideshow
What the article is called: "Holy Foley! Check Out Noelle’s Fun And Flirty Instagram Pics"
What it should be called: "It’s Too Risky For Us To Say These Are Sexy Noelle Foley Pics Because That Would Make You Feel Weird"
Noelle Foley is an attractive young woman (she’s 23). However, the way WWE portrays her makes it seem like she’s still a teenager who is off limits to grown men.
On Holy Foley she's cast as the innocent daughter of Mick Foley, who seems like he wants to give a Mandible Claw to anyone who wants to date her (especially that annoying clown boyfriend of hers, which if he did, would probably be the only thing that would make watching that show tolerable). But when WWE.com put an article up about Noelle they didn’t have the honesty to play up her sex appeal and instead they called the slideshow “fun and flirty!” Oh come on. The entire thing exists so we can see a few photos of her in a bikini!
It's the same kind of gallery they do with other WWE Divas and promote as "sexy" or "hot" but this time they feel the need to mask it.
There are 80 photos in total, and the first first four show her having fun and looking at the camera and whatnot. Then photo No. 5 finally gets down to business: Noelle in a bikini. Then we go back to pics of her posing with Charlotte, and Finn Balor and...oh hey, it’s Noelle in a blue bikini again, but this time by a pool!
Then there’s Rikishi and Noelle...oh hey, there she is in a watermelon bikini! Then there's Noelle in a pink and blue bikini. What variety! Then her with Santa, and...oh she’s dressed up in Joker face paint and wearing a bra. It's just like Heath Ledger! That WAS so much fun, and kind of flirty, thanks WWE!
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with the company putting up those pics on their website, but who are they trying to kid? They’ve had no problem in the past posting bikini galleries of Paige (who is a year older than Noelle) and Kelly Kelly (when she was a few years younger than Noelle), but because she’s Mick's daughter it makes it all kind of weird and they have to use "fun" and "flirty" to soften it. But seriously WWE, just own up to what you're trying to do here. We won't think less of you.
