If WWE Superstars Were Football Teams...

3. The Rock - Bayern Munich

After a, heh, 'rocky' start to his WWF career, The Rock eventually rose to become one of the biggest stars the industry has even seen. One of the most charismatic performers to ever step into the ring, The Rock oozed personality, but he also had the wrestling acumen to back up his gab.

Eventually, Dwayne outgrew the wrestling industry, departing the squared circle for the bright lights of Hollywood where he could put his considerable talents to better use.

Like The Rock, the glitzy Bayern Munich are the most glamourous outfit in their field - they're even known as FC Hollywood - and they are also too big for their natural home.

Bayern barely incur a challenge in the Bundesliga these days, and instead their primary focus is on the bigger European prize. It's fair to say they don't always find it easy to succeed on this greater stage however, and their Champions League campaigns are rather like The Rock's films: hit and miss.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
