Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen
5. Success For Ace Austin And Madman Fulton
One of the more anticipated matches at Bound For Glory is the World Tag Team Championships contest, with The Motor City Machine Guns set to defend against The North, The Good Brothers, and the team of Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. The story surrounding this one has been built exceptionally well, yet there's still one thing separating one of these tandems from the rest.
Ace and Madman aren't your typically tag team, so to speak. The Guns are the reigning champs, while The North hold the record for being the longest-reigning champions in Impact history period, and Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson have held the doubles gold more or less everywhere they've gone. As for Austin and Fulton, they've barely been teaming for half a year.
That's exactly why they should win the titles, though. Their three opposing teams will bicker all day and all night about who's the greatest cohesive unit, but 'The Inevitable' and his monster bodyguard just come in, and wreck house. It often goes unnoticed just how dominative Fulton can be in a multi-man situation.
Sure, they've had a bit of miscommunication in the build, but that's the sort of thing that could be there to throw you off.
