Due to the ongoing issues, Impact Wrestling had previously announced their upcoming Rebellion pay-per-view that was scheduled for Sunday, 19 April would not be going ahead for obvious reasons. In an update to that story, it has now been confirmed that the event will still go ahead but now as a two-part television special.

Now airing on Tuesday, 21 and 28 April (Wednesday, 22 and 29 April for UK viewers), Rebellion will take place on a closed set with essential personnel only - a situation similar to how WWE ran WrestleMania 36 last weekend.

As part of a statement released via impactwrestling.com, Impact management stated;

The safety of Impact’s wrestlers, personnel, and fans is of the utmost importance, and while it is with some disappointment that we must scale back our original plans for the event, we are proud to have the opportunity to provide our loyal and passionate audience with some much-needed entertainment during this time. We look forward to producing a proper pay-per-view event once this crisis has passed.

As we've seen with WWE's weekly shows (bar NXT UK, which is pre-taped weeks in advance), the empty arena vibe can hamper the overall quality of a show. Here's hoping Rebellion, which is currently still set to be main evented by Tessa Blanchard defending her World Championship against both Eddie Edwards and Michael Elgin, won't be affected too much by this now normal aspect of professional wrestling.
