With Matt Jackson currently out with a bicep injury, there's now an update on when the AEW EVP should hopefully be back in action.

As per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (via WrestlingNews.co), the hope is that Matt will be cleared in time for Double or Nothing on 28 May. The Young Buck is opting against having surgery for this injury, and instead will undergo therapy to rehab the issue. The belief is that Jackson should be on the sidelines for six to eight weeks, which would tie in nicely with AEW's next PPV.

In a kayfabe sense, the Young Bucks were both taken out of action on AEW Dynamite a couple of weeks ago. There, the Dynamite in question opened with the scene of the former AEW Tag Team Champions being carted out of the building in ambulances. While Nick Jackson is absolutely fine, the reality for his brother Matt is a partial bicep tear.

Of course, this is a storyline that seems to be lining up the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and 'Hangman' Adam Page to go to four-on-four war with the Blackpool Combat Club. Whether that's at Double or Nothing or at a later date remains to be seen, with this injury issue for Matt obviously a key factor in all of this.
