Is Paige VanZant Still With AEW?

Despite having not appeared for two years, Paige VanZant is still listed on the AEW roster page.

Despite still being listed on the AEW roster page, Paige VanZant is reportedly no longer with the company.

Speaking on today's Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted:

"No. Even though I know she's on the roster [page], she's not with AEW anymore."

When Meltzer's co-host Bryan Alvarez said how PVZ had been paid for a long time and questioned what happened, the Observer founder responded:

"She decided she didn't want to be a wrestler. If she wanted to be a wrestler, she'd still be there."

As mentioned, Paige VanZant is still listed on the official AEW website, shown between Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford - and with a 1-0 career record when it comes to AEW.

At this point, it's been nearly two years since VanZant last appeared for AEW, with her teaming with the Men of the Year's Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky to defeat Tay Melo, Sammy Guevara, and Frankie Kazarian at Double or Nothing 2022.

VanZant turned up in AEW in February 2022, being brought in by American Top Team's Dan Lambert and attacking Brandi Rhodes. Anything of note between Paige and Brandi was dropped entirely as Rhodes and her husband Cody soon departed AEW. However, by March, Tony Khan announced that Paige VanZant was formally joining AEW, with her signing her contract on the beaten body of Tay Melo as part of the build to that Double or Nothing match.

Away from pro wrestling, Paige VanZant has an 8-5 MMA record, having last competed in the sport in a loss to Amanda Ribas at UFC 251 in 2020, and she has a 0-2 record from her 2021 venture into bare-knuckle boxing. VanZant has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Chopped.

There are no further details right now on when exactly Paige VanZant finished up with AEW, and the promotion usually acts pretty quickly when it comes to removing talent from its roster page as and when they exit the company.
